The Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) has highlighted the country's growing investment opportunities in the energy sector during the high-level Energy Day Forum held at the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF) Grounds.

The forum, themed "Shaping the Future of Energy in Tanzania," brought together policymakers, development partners, investors, private sector leaders, financial institutions, academics and other key stakeholders to discuss the future of the country's energy sector.

The event focused on emerging industry trends, strategic investment priorities and opportunities to accelerate Tanzania's transition to sustainable energy. It also provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas, build partnerships and showcase innovative technologies and solutions supporting the country's energy development agenda.

Representing TISEZA, Foreign Investment Promotion Manager Daudi Riganda took part in the third panel discussion, where he presented Tanzania's investment potential and the country's competitive advantages for investors seeking opportunities in the energy sector.

He outlined the incentives available to both local and foreign investors, emphasizing the role of investment-friendly policies and Special Economic Zones in attracting capital that supports sustainable energy projects.

Mr. Riganda noted that expanding investment in clean and reliable energy is critical to driving industrialisation, strengthening economic competitiveness and improving energy access across the country.

TISEZA's participation underscored the government's commitment to promoting Tanzania as a preferred investment destination while encouraging partnerships that will help advance the country's long-term energy security and sustainable economic growth.
