The Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) has showcased its academic programmes and professional training opportunities at the 7th Zanzibar Higher Education Week Exhibition, attracting attention from education stakeholders and visitors.
Acting Zanzibar Minister for Education and Vocational Training, Shabani Othman, visited TIA’s pavilion on July 16, 2026, where he was briefed on the institution’s programmes, admission opportunities and its contribution to producing skilled professionals for the labour market.
During the visit at Mnazi Mmoja Grounds, Zanzibar, TIA officials explained how the institute continues to support national development by equipping students with knowledge and practical skills in accounting, finance, business administration and other related areas.
The minister’s visit highlighted the importance of higher education institutions in expanding access to quality training and preparing graduates who can respond to the needs of the economy.
TIA used the exhibition platform to engage with students, parents and education stakeholders, providing information on available courses, admission procedures and opportunities offered by the institution.
The institute invited members of the public visiting the exhibition to explore its academic programmes and learn more about its role in developing a skilled workforce for Tanzania’s future.
