Representatives of the Mining Commission’s management have visited the Commission’s pavilion at the ongoing 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), popularly known as Sabasaba, to assess the exhibition and engage with staff and members of the public.
The management delegation comprised the Mines Inspection and Environment Director, Engineer Hamisi Kamando, the Licensing Director, Engineer Aziza Swedi, and the Human Resource Management Manager, Bibiana Okama.
During the visit, the officials toured the pavilion and received updates on the services being showcased to visitors.
These include mineral licensing services, investment opportunities in the mining sector, mineral value addition initiatives, geological and mineral information, modern mineral testing technologies, and public awareness programmes on Tanzania’s vast mineral resources.
The delegation commended the exhibition team for professionally presenting the Commission’s mandate and for providing timely information and guidance to visitors.
They encouraged staff to maintain high standards of customer service and continue promoting the abundant investment opportunities available in Tanzania’s mining sector.
The Mining Commission’s pavilion has continued to attract a large number of visitors, including investors, miners, students, researchers, business people and members of the general public, who are eager to learn more about the country’s mineral wealth and the services offered by the Commission.
The 50th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair provides an important platform for the Mining Commission to showcase its role in regulating and developing Tanzania’s mining sector while promoting investment and sustainable mineral development.
