The Deputy Minister in the President’s Office – Public Service Management, Mhe. Regina Qwaray, has praised the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries for delivering high-quality public services and effectively engaging citizens during the National Public Service Week 2026.

She expressed her satisfaction on June 22, 2026, after visiting various exhibition booths at the ongoing event held at Chinangali Park.

Mhe. Regina said the ministry’s exhibition stood out for its practical demonstrations, clear public education, and use of modern technologies aimed at improving livestock and fisheries production across the country.

During her visit, she observed services provided by experts from the ministry and its institutions, including modern poultry and fish farming techniques, extension services, animal health support, and information on economic opportunities within the sector.

She noted that such exhibitions play a key role in bringing government services closer to citizens and helping people understand how to benefit from available opportunities.

She further called on citizens, especially young people, to take full advantage of the platform to gain knowledge and skills that can help them engage in productive activities.

“Young people should use this opportunity to learn modern livestock and fisheries practices and explore the services offered by the government so they can improve their incomes and participate in national development,” she said.

On her part, the Senior Human Resources Officer at the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, Ms. Angeline Ungelle, said the ministry’s participation in the exhibition is aimed at strengthening public awareness and improving access to services.

She said experts at the booth continue to provide guidance on livestock production, animal health, fish farming, value addition of livestock and fisheries products, and investment opportunities available in the sector.

The National Public Service Week 2026 continues to serve as an important platform that connects citizens with government institutions, improves service delivery, and promotes awareness of available opportunities for social and economic development.
