Singida Black Stars have reaffirmed their ambition to finish among the top four teams in the NBC Tanzania Mainland Premier League as the race for league positions enters a decisive stage.

The club strengthened its hopes after securing a commanding 4-1 victory over Mbeya City in a match played at Airtel Stadium in Singida yesterday.

The emphatic win has boosted the team’s momentum and confidence as it continues to battle for a strong finish in one of the league’s most competitive seasons.

Speaking after the match, Singida BS Head Coach Muhibu Kanu said his side remains fully focused on collecting maximum points in the remaining fixtures to maintain its place among the league’s top contenders.

Kanu attributed the team’s recent progress to discipline, unity and commitment among the players, describing teamwork as one of the club’s biggest strengths this season.

“Our goal is to continue building strong unity within the squad so that at the end of the season we can celebrate our achievements together,” said Kanu.

He also praised his players for producing an impressive performance against Mbeya City, saying they displayed determination, fighting spirit and tactical discipline throughout the encounter.

The result places Singida BS in a stronger position as competition for the top four intensifies, with clubs battling for higher league standings and possible qualification opportunities ahead of next season.
