The Kilosa District Commissioner, Shaka Hamdu Shaka, has assured residents that the government is taking seriously complaints raised by citizens over a recent incident in the area, promising a thorough investigation before providing official answers.
Speaking during a meeting with residents alongside members of the District Security Committee, Shaka said authorities had listened carefully to concerns expressed by women, youth and elders, while urging the public to remain calm and maintain trust in government leaders.
“We have heard your cries, mothers. We have listened to the voices of the youth and elders. I ask you to trust us. We are taking this matter with great seriousness and we will return with answers,” he said.
Shaka acknowledged that leaders do not yet have immediate explanations regarding the incident, but stressed that the government would not shy away from its responsibility to establish the truth and seek a solution that protects the interests of wananchi.
He said the investigation would help authorities understand what happened and determine appropriate measures, adding that the government remains committed to transparency, accountability and safeguarding public confidence.
