The Founder and President of Global Women Ministry Africa (GLOWMA), Prof. Margareth Kilimali, has called on women and believers to continue thanking God and promoting unity, love, and peace in society.
Speaking during the climax of the first women’s conference organized by GLOWMA in Dodoma, Prof. Kilimali said God’s mercy and faithfulness endure forever and that believers should remain strong in faith without fear.
The conference was held under the theme, “A Special Calling for Women: Serving Together in Unity, Solidarity, Love and Peace.”
Prof. Kilimali said thanksgiving is an important foundation of spiritual life and plays a key role in receiving blessings and answers to prayers.
“The mercies of God are everlasting, and His goodness toward us is eternal. We must always thank God because He is the God of gods and the Lord of lords,” she said.
She noted that no worldly power can overcome a person who fully trusts in God, because God reigns above every authority.
Prof. Kilimali also encouraged believers to obey the word of God and remain firm in salvation, saying salvation comes through the power of the Holy Spirit rather than human effort.
Referring to Romans 6:17, she said believers accepted and obeyed God’s teachings wholeheartedly, showing the spirit of obedience placed in them by God.
“We all obeyed the voice of God, accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and followed His word. Obedience is not a small matter; it is the work of God within a person,” she said.
During the event, Prof. Kilimali also swore in newly appointed GLOWMA leaders for the Central Zone, including the chairperson, coordinator, treasurer, and other officials who will oversee the ministry’s activities in the region.
She said the appointments are intended to strengthen the ministry’s mission of empowering women spiritually, socially, and morally while promoting peace and unity in communities.
