Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu discusses national education strategies with ministry team

Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba today convened a high-level working session with the Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Professor Adolf Mkenda, Deputy Minister Wanu Hafidh Ameir, and senior experts from the ministry to chart strategies for strengthening Tanzania’s education sector.

The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s Office in Mlimwa, Dodoma, focused on reviewing ongoing initiatives and exploring innovative approaches to enhance learning outcomes across the country. 


Key discussions included policy implementation, curriculum development, and measures to improve the quality and accessibility of education at all levels.

Professor Carolyne Nombo, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, also participated, providing insights on administrative reforms and programs designed to boost efficiency and effectiveness in the sector.


Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring every Tanzanian child has access to quality education, noting that collaboration between the ministry and key stakeholders is essential for achieving the country’s long-term development goals.
