The Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) is deepening its relationship with communities living inside the conservation area, following a visit by Commissioner Abdul-Razaq Badru to Endulen Ward in Ngorongoro District today.

Accompanied by members of the NCAA management team and Endulen Ward Councillor Elias Sakara Nagol, Commissioner Badru said the visit aimed to strengthen collaboration with local residents and review improvements in water infrastructure that serve people, livestock, and wildlife.

During the visit, Commissioner Badru informed villagers that NCAA is implementing water projects in Endulen, Kakesio, Olbalbal, and surrounding areas.

He urged residents to actively participate in managing and maintaining these projects, which are funded by the government, to ensure long-term benefits for the community.

Speaking during the visit, Councillor Nagol commended Commissioner Badru and his team for maintaining close contact with communities, listening to their concerns, and working with them on social initiatives.

He assured that local residents would continue to act as champions for conservation under the participatory conservation program.

The visit reflects NCAA’s ongoing commitment to fostering cooperation with communities, ensuring that conservation efforts go hand in hand with sustainable development and improved livelihoods for residents living within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
