JKT Queens extend dominance at the top of Tanzania Women’s Premier League

Defending champions JKT Queens have reinforced their status as the team to beat in the Tanzania Women’s Premier League, maintaining their position at the top of the standings this season.

The team secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Ceasisaa Queens yesterday at CCM Samora Stadium in Iringa, a result that propelled them to nine points from three matches. 

Despite being level on points with rivals Simba Queens and Yanga Princess, JKT Queens lead the league on goal difference, underscoring their attacking prowess and consistency.

In the chase behind them, Mashujaa Queens sit in fourth place, while Alliance Girls occupy fifth, both with six points, separated only by goal difference.

The league continues to heat up as competition for the title intensifies. With top teams delivering strong performances early in the season, fans can expect a thrilling and fiercely contested race for the championship.
