Tanzanian Ambassador to Mali, based in Abuja, Nigeria, Selestine Gervas Kakele, visited Simba SC’s training camp today, November 28, at Lafia Club De Bamako in the Malian capital.
The visit was intended to boost the morale of Simba players ahead of their crucial CAF Champions League Group D match against Stade Malien, scheduled for Sunday, November 30, at 1:00 a.m.
During the session, Ambassador Kakele urged the players to focus entirely on the upcoming match, reminding them that the disappointing result from their opening home game against Petro Atletico of Angola is now behind them. He expressed strong confidence in the team’s ability to secure a victory.
Simba SC’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, confirmed that the squad is in excellent shape, with high morale and a strong determination to fight for a positive result.
A win in this second Group D match is vital for Simba to strengthen their chances of advancing to the next stage of the tournament.
