Simba SC will return to action tomorrow night in what promises to be a tightly contested NBC Premier League encounter against JKT Tanzania at the Major General Isamuhyo Stadium in Dar es Salaam, with kick-off set for 7:00 PM.

Simba approach the fixture in upbeat form, having claimed a commanding 3–0 victory over Namungo in their previous outing.

On the other hand, JKT Tanzania will be seeking improvement after being held to a 2–2 draw by Mbeya City.

Speaking to reporters today, both teams’ technical benches and players expressed readiness as they finalize preparations for the highly anticipated match.

Simba Assistant Coach Suleiman Matola said his squad is in good condition and mentally set for the challenge ahead.

He acknowledged JKT Tanzania’s strength, particularly when playing at home, noting their discipline and experience.

“JKT is a tough side, especially at home. They have experienced and talented players who always make the match competitive. However, we have prepared well and our target remains securing all three points,” said Matola.

He added that Simba will look to score more than one goal, but emphasized the need for defensive stability. Matola confirmed that first-choice goalkeeper Moussa Camara will miss the match, though the rest of the squad is available.

Simba forward Wilson Nangu echoed the coach’s remarks, stating that the players are fully committed to fighting for victory.

“We understand the challenge ahead. It will not be an easy match, but we are well-prepared and will follow the coach’s plan to ensure we get the result we want,” said Nangu.

For JKT Tanzania, Head Coach Ahmad Ally acknowledged Simba’s pedigree, describing them as one of Africa’s top sides.

“We respect Simba they are a strong team with quality players and a coach who has a clear philosophy. We will approach the match with caution, discipline, and teamwork,” said Ally.

He noted that his team will focus on exploiting Simba’s weaknesses while maintaining a strong defensive shape.

Midfielder Hassan Dilunga emphasized JKT’s determination to turn recent performances into wins.

“We have had too many draws recently, and we discussed this as a team. We are going into this match to fight and get a positive result. We are ready,” Dilunga said.

Elsewhere in the NBC Premier League tomorrow, Singida Black Stars will take on Pamba Jiji at the CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza, as the race for league points continues to intensify.
