The Dodoma Resident Mines Office will from November 10, 2025, begin operating from new premises at the Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST) building located along Kikuyu Avenue, near the Post Office.
The Office, which previously operated in Kizota, announced the relocation in a public notice issued by Resident Mines Officer Eng. Menard Msengi.
He said services will continue to be offered without interruption, with working hours remaining from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
The new location is accessible through the road from Nyerere Square along Kikuyu Avenue heading towards the Post Office.
Eng. Msengi thanked stakeholders for their continued cooperation and apologized for any inconvenience during the transition.
The relocation is in line with the Mining Commission’s strategic efforts to enhance efficiency in service delivery and strengthen the management of Tanzania’s mineral sector.
It also reflects the Commission’s commitment to transparency, accountability, professionalism and improved customer service to ensure sustainable development and increased value addition in the mining industry.
