A representative from Toyota Corporation of Japan, Mr. James Odero, together with Ms. Sharifa Muhamedi from Tanzania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, held a working meeting with the Electrical Transmission and Distribution, Construction and Maintenance Company Limited (ETDCO) to discuss potential collaboration in implementing infrastructure projects across the country.
The meeting, held today at ETDCO headquarters in Dar es Salaam, focused on strengthening cooperation between the Japanese automotive and engineering giant and Tanzania’s infrastructure development sector.
Discussions centered on identifying areas of mutual interest in various sectors with a view of boosting economic growth and technological exchange.
Both sides expressed their commitment to maintaining open dialogue and fostering a long-term partnership that aligns with Tanzania’s development priorities and Japan’s continued support through its private sector investments.
