Dar es Salaam. Simba Sports Club has departed for Eswatini ahead of their first-leg CAF Champions League match against Nsingizini, scheduled for October 19.
According to Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, the team will hold intensive training sessions over the next two days to ensure they are fully prepared for the encounter.
“Preparations are going very well. All players are in good shape and motivated to secure a strong away result,” Ally said.
He noted that following their recent match against Coastal Union, all players resumed training, except those on national team duties. “Now everyone is fit and ready for the game,” he added.
Ally explained that the team’s immediate goal is to start strongly in the away leg and secure a positive result at home to advance to the group stage.
He further emphasized that Simba’s ultimate aim this season is to reach the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League.
