As part of the Customer Service Week celebrations, the Branch Manager of NMB Bank in Same District, Mr. Saad Masawila, led a team of bank staff on a visit to Same District Prison, where they donated essential items to both inmates and the prison administration.
The visit, which took place earlier this week, was part of NMB’s broader efforts to show solidarity and support to the community particularly to marginalized and often forgotten groups. The donated items included soap, toothpaste, sanitary towels, and other hygiene products.
Speaking during the brief handover ceremony, Mr. Masawila emphasized that NMB Bank recognizes the importance of community service, not just to their everyday customers but also to vulnerable groups such as prisoners.
He stressed that all institutions have a responsibility to show humanity and offer support where it is most needed.
