Farmers in Kagera are set to benefit from easier access to financial services and agricultural support following a special seminar organized by the Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB).
The event, held at the ELCT Hall in Bukoba, gathered nearly 100 farmers eager to learn how to grow their farms and income through improved access to credit and production-enhancing services.
The seminar provided farmers with practical tools to participate fully in the agricultural value chain, from accessing loans to adopting efficient farming practices.
Farmers said the training has boosted their confidence and knowledge, empowering them to take active steps toward higher productivity and better livelihoods.
In a move to make services more accessible, TADB also announced plans to open a branch office in Kagera.
The new office will act as a bridge between farmers and the Bank, facilitating faster access to loans, technical support, and market opportunities.
By combining knowledge-sharing with improved service delivery, TADB aims to transform agriculture in Kagera, helping farmers increase production, build resilient communities, and contribute to Tanzania’s economic growth.
