Hundreds of residents of Mwandoya Ward in Kisesa Constituency, Meatu District, gathered today, September 2, 2025, to meet Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel John Nchimbi, the Vice Presidential candidate of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), as he continues his campaign tour across Simiyu Region.
During the public rally, Dr. Nchimbi emphasized direct engagement with communities as a key part of his campaign approach.
He met with residents to discuss local concerns, listen to their challenges, and explain how the CCM 2025–2030 Election Manifesto aims to address issues such as economic development, infrastructure, and social welfare over the next five years.
In addition to outlining the party’s vision, Dr. Nchimbi formally endorsed Musa Godfrey Mbuga as the parliamentary candidate for Kisesa, alongside Lubiga Ward Councilor Juma Mpina, highlighting their track record and commitment to community development.
Speaking to the crowd, Dr. Nchimbi said the campaign is not only about seeking votes but also about strengthening trust between leaders and citizens.
“We are here to listen, understand your needs, and work together to achieve sustainable development. Your voice matters,” he told residents.
The event reflected a broader strategy by CCM to bring leaders closer to constituents, ensuring that the party’s policies resonate with everyday concerns while building momentum for the upcoming elections.
