Speaking upon arrival at the airport on August 13, first-choice goalkeeper Djigui Diarra said the squad has completed thorough preparations and promised fans an exciting performance.

“We are here safely in Rwanda and fully ready for our match. Fans should expect a strong display from us,” Diarra said.

He added that the friendly will serve as a key warm-up ahead of the 2025/26 season, giving the team a chance to fine-tune their strategies.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Abuutwalib Mshery urged Tanzanian supporters to continue backing the team, asking them to pray for the players’ success as they prepare for the new campaign.
