The Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA) has distinguished itself at the 2025 Nane Nane Agricultural Exhibition in Morogoro by securing the second-place trophy in the government agencies competition category.
The event, which showcases the efforts of various government institutions, saw the Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA) claim first place, while the Tanzania Forest Services Agency (TFS) finished third.
TMA’s impressive performance at the exhibition reflects its ongoing commitment to supporting stakeholders across Tanzania with critical meteorological services.
During the exhibition, the Authority engaged over 2,900 visitors, providing valuable education on weather science and its role in agricultural productivity and disaster preparedness.
