Tanzania to host Türkiye steel trade mission in September

By Alfred Zacharia

Tanzanian businesses will have the opportunity to meet Turkish steel exporters at the Türkiye–Tanzania Steel Trade Mission 2025 on Sept. 4, organizers said on Tuesday.

The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dar es Salaam and will feature pre-arranged business-to-business (B2B) meetings between Turkish steel manufacturers and Tanzanian companies in construction, infrastructure, hardware supply, and industrial sectors.

The trade mission is organized by the Turkish Steel Exporters’ Association in partnership with the Turkish Embassy in Dar es Salaam.

It aims to strengthen bilateral trade ties and explore opportunities for long-term business partnerships.

Participation in the B2B meetings is free, but registration is required via [https://forms.gle/JnxxB96W8ywBZEsn7](https://forms.gle/JnxxB96W8ywBZEsn7).

A Commerce and Trade Officer at the Turkish Embassy said the event was “a significant step forward in strengthening Türkiye–Tanzania trade relations, particularly in the steel and construction sectors.”

The mission will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to provide Tanzanian importers and construction firms direct access to Turkish suppliers, helping facilitate sourcing and distribution agreements.
