Simba Sports Club is set to unveil its new jerseys for the 2025/2026 season tomorrow at Super Dome Masaki, promising a spectacular start to the new campaign.
The announcement came today, August 30, 2025, in Mafinga, where Simba Board Member and chief guest for Simba Week 2025, Seleman Haroub, highlighted the significance of the launch.
“This major event signals the beginning of an exciting season. Simba fans will witness things they’ve never seen before, especially on Simba Day at the National Stadium,” Haroub said.
He praised the success of last year’s “Coach Fadlu Project,” which continues to gain momentum. “We urge everyone to support our leaders, including Board Chairman Mr. Mo and Club Chairman Mr. Mangungu,” he added.
Haroub also encouraged fans to secure their jerseys early. “Our new jerseys are of the highest quality. Every Simba fan should make sure they get theirs ahead of the season,” he said.
Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, noted that Simba Week has become a long-standing tradition over the past 17 years.
“It’s our way of connecting with fans across the country, bringing them closer to the club and celebrating together,” he said.
This year, Iringa was chosen as one of the launch locations. “Last year we started in Morogoro, and this year we wanted to extend the excitement to Iringa. The energy from fans here has been incredible, and they’ve embraced Simba wholeheartedly,” Ally said.
Ally also announced a new initiative to make jerseys accessible nationwide. “Previously, jerseys were mainly available in Dar es Salaam. This year, we’ve partnered with the Tanzania Posts Corporation to ensure fans in every region can get them,” he explained.
With the 2025/26 season approaching, Simba is ready to reclaim its dominance. “Our new signings are highly skilled and experienced. We believe their ambition and hunger for success will take the team to new heights. The squad is now complete and ready,” Ally concluded.
