JKT Tanzania is intensifying its preparations for the 2025/2026 season as the team trains in Arusha ahead of the new league campaign.
Speaking to The Respondent Online, JKT Tanzania’s Communications Officer Masau Bwire said the players are progressing well in their pre-season program, focusing on building fitness and readiness for the upcoming season.
He noted that the team recently played a friendly match against Azam, securing a 2-1 victory during a fitness test match held in Karatu, Arusha.
“Our squad hasn’t spent much time in Arusha, but we had the opportunity to travel to Karatu at Azam’s request for this match. The coach used the game to identify areas that need improvement, which will help him make adjustments before the season starts,” Bwire explained.
He added that training continues while they await the coach’s program, which will outline friendly matches and identify suitable opponents for preparation.
Bwire confirmed that the team will remain in camp throughout the pre-season, returning to Dar es Salaam one week before the NBC Tanzania Mainland Premier League kicks off in September.
He called on fans to continue supporting the team, offering advice and encouragement as JKT Tanzania works to achieve its planned objectives.
