The new plant, operated by Mantra Tanzania Limited, is a major step forward in unlocking Tanzania’s mineral potential to benefit citizens through job creation, increased government revenue, and local economic growth.

It is part of the government’s broader strategy to industrialize the country by adding value to natural resources before they are exported.

The uranium facility is not only expected to position Tanzania on the global map for nuclear minerals but also ensure that surrounding communities gain from improved infrastructure, business opportunities, and social services linked to the investment.

This project reflects the government’s continued efforts to build a stronger, inclusive economy  where natural wealth works for all Tanzanians.
