KAS emerged victorious, securing third place in the CAF U17 Girls Integrated Football Tournament held at the Azam Complex Stadium, Chamazi.
In the third-place playoff, KAS defeated Bonsilli Girls with a commanding 2-0 win.
The first half ended in a stalemate as both teams struggled to break through, leaving the scoreline at 0-0 after 45 minutes.
KAS took the lead in the 60th minute when Brenda Achieng netted the opening goal.
The team doubled their advantage in the 83rd minute, courtesy of Mitshel Muthama’s brilliant finish.
With the final whistle, KAS secured a well-deserved 2-0 victory, cementing their spot in third place.
Bonsilli Girls finished fourth in the tournament, followed by Kenya Elite Junior Academy in fifth place and Aigle Noir C.S Fighters in sixth.
