The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, has extended her congratulations to Simba Sports Club for their impressive victory in the CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC) match held yesterday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Simba secured a commanding 2-0 win over CS Constantine in their final group-stage match.
In their earlier encounter, CS Constantine had triumphed 2-1 on home soil, but Simba’s victory ensured a 3-2 aggregate score in their favor.
Dr. Samia praised Simba’s achievement of advancing to the quarterfinals as group leaders, calling it not only a source of national pride but also a source of great joy for the team's fans and all Tanzanians.
