The Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Albert Chalamila, on September 27, 2024, expressed his gratitude to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, for facilitating the implementation of various development projects. These include the construction of the Kilakala Health Center, the Kurasini dispensary, the Miburani Ward Office, and a dormitory at Kibasila Secondary School.
RC Chalamila conveyed his thanks during a visit to inspect ongoing development projects and engage with residents in the Temeke constituency of Temeke District.
He also urged government leaders at all levels to actively promote these initiatives so that citizens can recognize the commendable work being carried out by their government under the astute leadership of President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.
Furthermore, RC Chalamila provided clarity on recent abduction and murder incidents that occurred in some areas, including Temeke. He noted that many of these incidents happen within local communities, emphasizing that the first line of defense is the community itself. To combat such crimes, he called on residents to take a leading role in ensuring safety and security in their neighborhoods.
In closing, RC Chalamila encouraged citizens to participate in the 2024 local government elections by turning out in large numbers to register as voters and run for leadership positions.
