Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) has cancelled flights between Dar es Salaam and Nairobi scheduled for today, September 1, 2026, citing continued disruption to operations at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The airline said the disruption is linked to ongoing industrial action at the Nairobi airport, prompting the cancellation of two services connecting Tanzania and Kenya.
The affected flights are TC 200, from Dar es Salaam to Nairobi, and TC 201, from Nairobi to Dar es Salaam.
In a travel advisory issued on August 31, 2026, ATCL advised passengers booked on the affected flights to contact its customer service centre for assistance and further information regarding their travel arrangements.
Passengers can reach the airline through contactcentre@airtanzania.co.tz.
ATCL said it was closely monitoring developments and working with aviation authorities, airport stakeholders and other partners to assess the situation and minimise the impact on passengers.
The airline apologised for the inconvenience caused, saying further updates would be issued as more information becomes available.
