Experience the Wonders: From the gates of Ngorongoro to the Garden of Eden

By The Resporter

There is an old saying among the Maasai: “Blessings are blessed, even if they are not destined.” In Ngorongoro, this proverb comes alive.

Here, you can witness the “Big Five” lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros – not as mere tales or dreams left behind by explorers, but as living realities confirmed by the sweeping gaze of your eyes.

Imagine stepping through the gate, and within just half a kilometer to your left, you spot a massive tree under which a rare and elusive animal rests during the daytime.

This is none other than Anko the Leopard, a creature whose sighting is a privilege few forget.

But the marvels do not stop there. While you marvel at Anko, the other members of the Big Five – lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes – await you at the Ngorongoro Crater floor.

They are accompanied by herds of zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, hippos, and diverse bird species including flamingos, herons, and many others.

Ngorongoro is not just a sanctuary; it is a global treasure, a destination of wonders. From the Garden of Eden landscapes to the footsteps of Laetoli, from living cultures to the Olduvai Gorge, and the grazing grounds of elands, this is a land where nature and history converge in breathtaking harmony.
