Four men’s volleyball teams Tanzania Prisons, Jeshi Stars, KIUT, and JKT have booked their places in the semifinals of this season’s Tanzania National Volleyball League (TVNL) after thrilling quarterfinal clashes.
The semifinals are set for tomorrow, with each matchup played in a best-of-three format, promising intense battles for a spot in the final.
Tanzania Prisons edged past High Voltage 3-2 in a nail-biting quarterfinal match at Mwembe Yanga Stadium in Dar es Salaam, while Jeshi Stars dominated Bandari with a convincing 3-0 win. JKT also advanced after defeating Genesis 3-1, and KIUT recorded a 3-0 victory over Nyika.
With these results, the teams eliminated from the tournament are High Voltage, Bandari, Nyika, and Genesis, ending their campaigns this season.
The stage is now set for an exciting semifinal round as the four remaining teams prepare to fight for glory in the TVNL.
