The Resident Mines Officer for Mirerani, George B. Kaseza, has lauded the Mining Commission for its well-organized participation in the ongoing Geita Gold Fair 2025 at Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan Grounds in Bombambili, Geita.
During a visit to the Commission’s pavilion, Mr. Kaseza highlighted the level of preparation, noting that the exhibits reflected the Commission’s commitment to raising awareness about Tanzania’s mineral sector.
He urged Tanzanians to actively engage in the sector, pointing out opportunities in mineral exploration, value addition, and trade.
Mr. Kaseza stressed that increased participation from local investors and stakeholders would strengthen the economy and ensure Tanzanians gain more from the country’s mineral resources.
The Geita Gold Fair 2025, running from September 18 to 28, has convened mining stakeholders nationwide to promote investment, innovation, and collaboration in Tanzania’s rapidly growing mineral sector.
