Ahmed Ally, Media and Communications Manager of Simba Sports Club, has called on Simba supporters in Kibamba to attend the highly anticipated Simba Day on September 10 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Speaking during the launch of the Simba Kibamba branch on September 4, 2025, Ally said the branch launch is part of broader preparations for Simba Week.
“Dear Simba fans of Kibamba, we are in Simba Week, which features a special day for branch launches. We are starting here, then moving to Bunju, and concluding in Kunduchi. I also encourage fans across the country to visit their nearest hospitals and donate blood,” Ally said.
He emphasized that Simba Week is about more than football. “It’s a time to show love and kindness to the community by supporting orphans, the elderly, and widows. Kibamba fans, your generosity directly benefits Simba Sports Club,” he added.
Ally urged local fans not to miss Simba Day. “It would be shameful if fans from Mbeya, Mwanza, and Shinyanga travel here while Kibamba supporters stay home. Come and celebrate your club,” he said.
He also promised a memorable experience, highlighting entertainment throughout the day.
“This year’s Simba Day will be full of excitement from the moment fans arrive until they leave,” he said.
Ally issued strict instructions to all Simba branches, banning the use of televisions to watch the event.
“All members must gather at the stadium. The only permissible branch activity is the morning assembly before heading to the stadium,” he concluded.
