Tanzania on Monday played host to the Dubai Expo 2025 Roadshow, an event designed to strengthen economic and innovation ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Tanzania, while spotlighting opportunities for local participation in the global event.

Held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dar es Salaam, the roadshow drew stakeholders from key sectors including trade, tourism, agriculture, technology, and sustainability.

Participants engaged in discussions on potential partnerships, investment opportunities, and knowledge exchange.

Themed “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” Dubai Expo 2025 aims to be a global platform for innovation, collaboration, and cultural dialogue.

Tanzanian businesses, government officials, and innovators were urged to seize the opportunity to showcase their ideas and products to a global audience.

Speaking during the event, Amna Bin Hendi, Director of International Partnerships at Dubai Expo 2025, underscored Africa’s strategic importance in shaping a sustainable and interconnected global future.

“Dubai Expo 2025 is not just an event, it is a platform for shared growth, innovation, and dialogue,” she said. “We are honored to be in Tanzania today, a nation of immense talent, opportunity, and cultural richness. We look forward to welcoming Tanzania’s business community, creatives, and changemakers to Dubai in 2025.”

The roadshow marked a significant step in building momentum ahead of the Expo, expected to bring together participants from over 190 countries and millions of visitors worldwide.

Tanzania’s participation is expected to highlight the country's investment potential and innovation capacity, particularly in areas aligned with Expo priorities such as sustainable development and digital transformation.
