The Minister of State in the President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance, Ridhiwani Kikwete, has called on the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) to adopt joint strategies to prevent and fight corruption, emphasizing the need for transparency, fairness, and accountability among public servants.

Kikwete made the appeal during a visit to PCCB headquarters in Dodoma on January 15, 2026, where he met staff and introduced himself.

“I, together with my deputy Regina Qwaray, commend the management and staff for executing their duties professionally and efficiently. We stand ready to provide full support to ensure our institution continues to earn public trust,” he said.

The minister also urged PCCB to publicize its achievements and educate the public using various media platforms, particularly social media, which has become a vital communication tool.

Deputy Minister Qwaray noted that the visit aimed not only to introduce the leadership team but also to remind staff of their responsibilities and strengthen teamwork in managing national development projects.

“We have come to introduce ourselves and get acquainted. I urge everyone to work with renewed enthusiasm and cooperation to realize President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s vision of delivering development to citizens,” she said.

Speaking on behalf of the Secretary-General of the President’s Office, Ms. Enedy Munthali affirmed that her office is committed to ensuring PCCB receives the necessary resources to complete its tasks on time.

PCCB Director General, Mr. Crispin Chalamila, thanked the ministers for their visit and pledged full cooperation from staff and management to implement their duties effectively.
