The Minister of Finance, Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar (MP), met with the Regional Secretary of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) in Arusha, Mr. Mussa Dadi Matoroka, in a discussion centered on promoting national unity and development.
During the meeting, Minister Omar called on all Tanzanians to uphold love, peace, and solidarity, emphasizing that these values are essential for maintaining stability and achieving the country’s development goals.
Mr. Matoroka, representing CCM, highlighted that peace and cohesion form the foundation of socio-economic progress.
He assured that the party remains committed to fostering these values among citizens, ensuring that all regions, including Arusha, continue to thrive.
He further noted that Arusha is currently peaceful, with residents actively engaged in productive activities across sectors such as trade, tourism, and other local enterprises.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Laurent Luswetula (MP), along with senior CCM officials, reflecting the government’s commitment to reinforcing cooperation between political leadership and regional administration for the country’s development.
