Residents across Tanzania are advised to prepare for a mix of sun and occasional rain over the next 24 hours, according to the Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA).

The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies nationwide, with localized showers in several regions.

In Kagera and Mtwara, brief thundershowers may interrupt sunny periods, prompting residents to carry umbrellas or raincoats when traveling.

The islands of Unguja, Pemba, and Mafia are also expected to see light rain, although sunny intervals will provide opportunities for outdoor activities.

Mainland cities including Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Arusha, Mbeya, and Mwanza are expected to experience mostly sunny conditions with some clouds.

Daytime temperatures will reach 33°C in Dar es Salaam and Dodoma, while Njombe will have cooler nights at 11°C. Arusha will see 29°C/17°C, Mbeya 27°C/14°C, and Tanga 32°C/24°C.

Coastal winds will blow at 20 km/h from the southeast along the Northern Coast and from the northeast along the Southern Coast, with slight sea conditions.

Fishermen, boat operators, and coastal residents are urged to stay alert to changing weather patterns.

TMA also warned that minor weather changes may occur in the coming days, particularly on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Citizens are encouraged to monitor weather updates regularly and take necessary precautions, especially during rain periods, to ensure safety and minimize disruption to daily activities.
