The Trade Union Congress of Tanzania (TUCTA) has expressed deep appreciation to President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for fulfilling her promise to increase salaries for public servants, implement promotions, and enhance working conditions nationwide.
During a meeting at State House, Dar es Salaam, TUCTA leaders commended the President’s commitment to improving the welfare of public employees.
The salary increments and career advancements are seen as vital steps in motivating the workforce and boosting public service delivery.
President Samia was joined by TUCTA President Tumaini Nyamhokya and his delegation, alongside other government officials, for a constructive dialogue on labor issues and ongoing reforms.
In recognition of her efforts, TUCTA presented President Samia with a special award honoring her contribution to advancing workers’ rights and welfare in Tanzania.
The meeting reaffirmed the government’s resolve to continue improving the public service sector to support Tanzania’s socio-economic development.
