The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has issued a firm reminder to all clubs in the NBC Premier League and NBC Championship to complete their player registration and transfer processes promptly ahead of the 2025/2026 season.
The official transfer window opened on July 1, 2025, and will close on September 7, 2025. TFF has made it clear that there will be no extension beyond this deadline.
TFF’s Media and Communications Officer, Clifford Mario Ndimbo, emphasized that clubs must comply with the timeline and should not expect additional time to finalize their deals.
“There will be no grace period once the transfer window closes. Clubs must ensure they complete all registrations and transfers within the set period,” said Ndimbo.
He noted that the registration process is conducted through the FIFA Connect system, which accommodates three types of player movement: permanent transfers from one club to another, loan agreements, and new player registrations.
“Clubs are required to submit all necessary documents accurately and completely. Any club experiencing challenges during the process should reach out to the TFF Competitions Department for immediate assistance,” Ndimbo added.
TFF stressed that timely compliance with registration rules is crucial for maintaining professionalism, fairness, and integrity in Tanzanian football.
The federation’s message serves as a call to action for all participating teams to plan accordingly and avoid last-minute complications that could hinder their participation in the upcoming season.
