The weeklong event highlights Airtel's dedication to recognizing and appreciating its customers, who remain central to the company’s operations.
Speaking at the launch of the celebration during a company-wide Employee Townhall, Airtel Africa CEO, Sunil Taldar, underscored the company’s unwavering commitment to improving the customer journey at every interaction.
Taldar reiterated that customers are at the heart of Airtel’s mission, stating, “Our customers are at the core of everything we do; they are the reason we exist. Our dedication to delivering excellence in customer experience is unshakable, and we continue to invest in innovative solutions and dedicated teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.”
Throughout Customer Service Week, Airtel employees from various departments are encouraged to engage directly with customers in the field.
The initiative is aimed at helping them better understand customer expectations while offering support to customer-facing teams in their efforts to serve customers more effectively.
Airtel is continually enhancing its digital platforms, making it easier for customers to access services, resolve issues, and share feedback.
The company has also strengthened its customer service teams to provide round-the-clock support across multiple channels, including phone, chat, and social media.
Additionally, Airtel is leveraging data and analytics to offer personalized solutions that promptly address individual customer needs. Feedback from customers plays an integral role, as the company actively listens and incorporates suggestions into service improvements, reinforcing its customer-first philosophy.
