Dar painted Red and White to commemorate Simba Day

Thousands of Simba members and fans continue to descend in numbers at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam to climax the much-awaited Simba Day.

The 60,000 capacity venue has turned to be the sea of Red and White, the traditional colours of the club with most of the arrivals putting on newly introduced jerseys of the club.

A lot of activities have been lined up to decorate the day including performances from different well known artists who will share the stage to entertain people.

Also, on the menu is the parade of the entire Simba squad to be featured throughout the action packed 2024/25 season.

Later, the international friendly match between Simba against APR will be staged to give the former's fraternity a glimpse of what they should expect from them when the new season flags off.

Simba are among the teams that have accomplished several new signings ahead of the upcoming campaign hence people are eager to see how they will adapt.

Security has also been tightened to ensure maximum safety of people before, during and after the annual ceremony.
