Singida Black Stars set for Kenya trip ahead of Tusker FC clash

Singida Black Stars will travel to Nairobi, Kenya, tomorrow as they step up preparations for their CAF Confederation Cup second-round first-leg encounter against Tusker FC on October 18.

The Tanzanian side has been holding a training camp in Arusha, where the technical bench has been working to ensure the squad is ready for the crucial away fixture.

Singida Black Stars Communications and Information Manager, Hussein Massanza, confirmed that the delegation would depart from Arusha with 20 players, members of the technical bench and several club officials.

Massanza said the team would use its final preparations to assess the squad and strengthen its competitiveness ahead of the encounter, with the primary objective of securing a positive result in Nairobi.

“As part of our final preparations, the technical bench will assess the squad to strengthen competition within the team and help us secure victory,” he said.

He emphasised that the two-legged tie would be decisive in determining Singida Black Stars’ chances of progressing to the next round, noting that the results of both the away and home matches would ultimately determine their fate in the competition.

The club will therefore be seeking a strong performance against Tusker FC in Nairobi to put itself in a favourable position ahead of the return leg.

For Singida Black Stars, securing a positive result away from home would provide an important boost as they pursue their ambition of advancing further in the continental competition.
