Korosho Queens have set their sights on a top-four finish in the Taifa Volleyball National League (TVNL) after cruising to a 3-0 victory over Genesis on Wednesday.
The win, secured at Mwembe Yanga grounds in Dar es Salaam, has given Korosho Queens further momentum as they push to improve their position in the league with the remaining matches.
Korosho Queens manager Hussein Kibombwe said the team would use the victory as a springboard for a strong finish to the campaign.
“Our main focus now is to fight for a place among the top four teams in the league this season,” Mr Kibombwe told The Respondent Online.
He said the players were already preparing for their upcoming fixtures, with the team determined to maintain its winning momentum and collect positive results in the matches ahead.
Kibombwe also urged supporters to continue turning up in large numbers, saying their presence would give the players the motivation needed to perform at their best.
“We urge our fans to continue coming to the stadium in large numbers and support the team in the remaining matches,” he said.
Korosho Queens will now turn their attention to the remaining league fixtures as they seek to secure a place among the country’s top four volleyball teams.
