Yanga SC will leave Dar es Salaam tomorrow for Zanzibar to take part in the ongoing Revolution Cup.
The team will open their campaign against KVZ on January 4, 2026, at the New Amaan Complex Stadium.
Speaking to the media, Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ally Kamwe, confirmed that the squad will include all current players as well as new signings registered during the recently opened transfer window.
Preparations are reportedly progressing smoothly as the team fine-tunes its readiness ahead of the tournament.
Kamwe emphasized the team’s determination, saying: “Any team thinking Yanga will not compete in this tournament is mistaken. We are here to fight and our goal is to win the championship.”
Yanga will face TRA United in their second group match on January 6, 2026, at the same stadium.
