Dar es Salaam will host the 4th edition of the focused trade exhibition on pharmaceuticals, medical healthcare, and related sectors from 21st to 23rd August this year at the Diamond Jubilee Hall.
The three-day event will bring together over 80 exhibitors from five countries, merging Pharmatech & Health East Africa with Medical & Lab East Africa. It is expected to attract more than 2,500 visitors from across East Africa, including Tanzania.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of products, including pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, healthcare solutions, laboratory technology, surgical tools, orthopaedic, and dental products, among others. This year’s edition will also highlight medical tourism and herbal & Ayush therapies, aiming to improve patient care (kuboresha matibabu kwa wateja).
Running daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., the event will offer free entry for visitors. In addition to the exhibition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in forums, discussions, and conferences held in dedicated halls during the expo.
The trade exhibition is organized by ETSIPL, in partnership with the Pharmaceutical Society of Tanzania, and supported by the Ministry of Health, TMDA, MEWATA, and the Tanzania Orthopaedic Association (TOA).
This year’s event features more exhibitors than previous editions, with greater participation from local stakeholders as well as international companies, particularly from India and Turkey. It is held with the endorsement of TANTRADE and sponsored by key industry players including MSD, AENON Health Care, Planet Pharmaceutical Ltd, and NCD, among others.
