Simba SC is set for a high-stakes showdown against Egypt’s Al Masry in the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final tomorrow in Suez, Egypt.

The Tanzanian giants are determined to secure a favorable result away from home as they continue their quest for continental success.

After setting up camp in Ismailia for several days to acclimate to the Egyptian conditions, Simba has now moved to Suez, where they have completed their final training sessions.

Yesterday and today, the squad underwent intense drills under the guidance of the technical team, fine-tuning tactics and boosting match fitness.

Simba’s Media and Communications Manager, Ahmed Ally, expressed confidence in the team’s readiness, assuring fans that the players are in top condition.

"Our preparations have gone smoothly. The squad trained intensively in Ismailia for four days, and now we are in Suez, where our coach has had the opportunity to fine-tune strategies.

All 23 players are fit and ready, including goalkeeper Moussa Camara, who had been away but is now in top form," Ally stated.

He further emphasized the team’s determination to progress to the semi-finals, highlighting their strong mentality and hunger for success.

Having reached the quarter-finals five times in both the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup, Simba is keen to take the next step this season.

The first leg in Egypt presents a tough challenge, but Simba is fully aware of the importance of securing a positive result on the road.

A victory would significantly boost their chances, while even a draw with an away goal could give them a crucial advantage ahead of the return leg.

Simba’s attacking force will need to be sharp against Al Masry’s defense, while the backline must remain solid to withstand the Egyptian side’s offensive threats.

Tactical discipline, teamwork, and efficiency in front of goal will be vital in ensuring a strong performance.

The return leg is scheduled for April 9 at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, where Simba will aim to capitalize on home advantage.

The aggregate winner of the two-legged tie will secure a spot in the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

With anticipation running high, Simba fans back home are rallying behind their team, eager to witness a historic run in the tournament.

A positive result in Egypt would not only uplift the squad’s morale but also set the stage for a memorable second-leg showdown in Dar es Salaam.

As the countdown to kickoff continues, Simba is ready to fight for victory and keep their dreams of continental glory alive.
