Airtel’s Santa Mizawadi brings joy as lucky winners celebrate life-changing prizes

The third week of Airtel’s "Santa Mizawadi" campaign brought joy and excitement, blending the thrill of New Year celebrations with the announcement of lucky winners live from Airtel Tanzania’s headquarters. The event left participants and viewers buzzing with excitement as fortunes were made and dreams fulfilled.

During the vibrant live draw, Ms. Janeth Kwilasa, Head of Enterprises and SMEs at Airtel Money, expressed gratitude to Airtel customers for their loyalty and engagement with the campaign. She reaffirmed Airtel’s commitment to rewarding and empowering Tanzanians through innovative and inclusive initiatives.

Among the standout winners was Elizabeth Robert from Singida, who walked away with a cash prize of one million Tanzanian shillings. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Elizabeth shared how the money would go a long way in covering her children’s school fees.

In Arusha, Anjelina Kawau was delighted to win a brand-new Smart TV. “I was struggling with so many things, but this win has truly turned my fortunes around. Thank you, Airtel, for your incredible services and bonuses!” she exclaimed.

The excitement peaked when Emmanuela Vulwa, a used clothes seller from Arusha, was announced as the winner of a brand-new motorcycle. Overcome with emotion, Emmanuela expressed her joy, saying, “This is beyond happiness! Thank you, Airtel! This motorcycle will transform my business and help me serve my customers better.”

In Kagera, Habib Abdul, a small-scale trader, celebrated winning a sleek new iTel A50 smartphone. Thrilled to start the year on a high note, he said, “I’m so happy to win this smartphone. It’s a great way to kick off the year with my family. Airtel Money is a fantastic service, and I encourage all Tanzanians to keep using Airtel.”

Ms. Judith, representing Airtel, reassured participants about the transparency of the draw, emphasizing that every winner was verified through Tanzania’s strict national identification registration system. “According to TCRA regulations, all phone numbers in Tanzania must be registered with NIDA IDs, ensuring the process is secure and fair,” she explained.

Janeth Kwilasa extended heartfelt thanks to the Gaming Board of Tanzania for supervising and coordinating the draw from start to finish. She also expressed appreciation to Airtel customers across the nation for embracing Airtel Money, Airtel Menu USSD, and other services. She urged them to keep participating for a chance to win in the campaign's final week.
