President Samia Dismisses Six Executives

President Samia Suluhu Hassan has nullified the appointment of six leaders, including the Postmaster General of the Postal Corporation in the country, Mr. Maharage Chande.

This comes just one-day after the head of state fired three cabinet ministers in a minor reshuffle announce on July 22, 2023.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL), Mrs. Zuhura Sinare Muro has also shown an exit door.

 A statement from the Chief Secretary released by the President’s Directorate of Communications stated the president has dismissed TTCL Director General Eng. Peter Ulanga.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Tanzania Post Corporation, retired Brigadier General Yohana Ocholla Mabongo, the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Universal Communications Services Access Fund (UCSAF), Prof. John Nkoma, and the Fund’s Chief Executive Officer Mrs. Justina Mashiba were also affected by the latest presidential order.
